Beginners

Smiggin Holes is the area the resort recommends for your first days. Harry’s and Herman’s are learning landmarks; confirm your lesson there before traveling to another sector.

Intermediates

The blue runs at Smiggin Holes offer progression; you can then explore Blue Cow or Guthega, choosing connections on the map. Save energy for the return.

Advanced

The Ridge and Kamikaze in Blue Cow offer steeper slopes and ungroomed sections. The dedicated Double Trouble and Devil’s Playground map helps identify expert terrain.

Practical tip

Skitube connects Bullocks Flat with Perisher Valley and Blue Cow. Check whether your purchase includes this transport and choose your lesson meeting point before heading up.

Season and conditions

Southern Hemisphere season. Check the calendar and operating status before fixing your travel dates.

A good way to organize your first day

Start in your lesson area; Smiggin Holes is a reference point for learning. At intermediate level, get to know its blues first and add Blue Cow or Guthega once you are clear about the return.
