Beginners

Start in Learner Zone, beside the base and conveyor lifts. Book a lesson package suited to your experience and confirm when to move on to green runs.

Intermediates

Curvey Basin lets you extend your routes; use the map to choose suitable groomed runs. Centurion and Double Back are reference runs in this area.

Advanced

Shadow Basin and the access routes to Alta Chutes offer more demanding terrain. The chutes are not an automatic continuation of the runs: check access, closures and requirements with patrol or a guide.

Practical tip

You can collect your MyPass and arrange rental in Queenstown before your ski day. Check road conditions and book the Ski Bus if you prefer not to drive.

A good way to organize your first day
