Skiing in
Mona YongPyong

Yongpyong combines learning beside the base with the Rainbow runs, associated with alpine competition. Color names are proper names: Blue does not mean an easy run.

Beginners

Yellow and New Yellow are the beginner runs. Pink and Mega Green are listed as the next step, between beginner and intermediate.

Intermediates

Gold Paradise and Rainbow Paradise are rated intermediate. The latter is a long route: start with plenty of energy and check your return before heading up.

Advanced

New Red and Gold Valley are advanced; Red, Silver and Rainbow 1, 2 and 3 are for experts according to the official ratings.

Practical tip

Check the session included in your ticket and whether your chosen run is open. Day and night options should not be interpreted as continuous access to the entire ski area.

Season and conditions

Published prices may relate to a previous season. Check the winter season and ticket session before buying.

A good way to organize your first day

For your first runs, start on Yellow or New Yellow. Pink and Mega Green offer the next stage of progression; save Rainbow Paradise until the group can maintain control throughout a long descent.
