CHOOSE WITH CONTEXT

What is the mountain like?

It may suit your trip if…

  • Families choosing a base according to ability
  • Skiers combining marked runs and demanding terrain

Before deciding

  • Main, Canyon and Eagle are not interchangeable meeting points.
  • The Village Gondola and each lodge’s services operate seasonally; verify which will be running during your trip.

Getting started

The beginner map guides your progression from Main Lodge, Canyon Lodge and Eagle Lodge.

Varied terrain

Check the winter map to identify runs, terrain parks and connections. Lift status can affect which sectors connect.

A good way to organize your first day

Choose the lodge for your lesson or your least experienced group member. Eagle offers gentle terrain and access towards Lincoln Mountain for stronger skiers; explore high elevations after checking wind, visibility and the map.

YOUR MOUNTAIN BASE

Where to stay

Eagle and Juniper Springs are practical for groups with beginners. Canyon connects skiing with town via the Village Gondola when it operates; Main Lodge suits those prioritizing that mountain area.

Mammoth Lodging Collection

Compare the bases and the Village. The Village Gondola connection is seasonal.

Compare the cost of your entire stay

Include all nights and rooms, taxes, parking, transfers, and cancellation. For families, provide children’s ages; a rate for two adults is not a budget for the whole group.
